Some have taken full advantage of Diablo IV Early Access.
Diablo IV officially goes on sale today, December 6, but those who purchased one of the special editions of the game were able to start playing last Friday thanks to a four-day early access period. Enough time for a player to have already reached the top of the game by reach level 100which has taken him quite a lot of hours.
It is a feat of youtuber Rob2628, who claims in one of his latest videos to be the “first player in the world to reach level 100“after dedicating a few 54 hours and 29 minutes of gameplay to Diablo IV in these four days of early access. An impressive marker, but the thing would also have something of a trick.
Diablo IV is now available for all players
As the youtuber explains, most of that playing time would have been invested playing in a group and would have used an exploit to level up fast which consists in that, if the leader of the group leaves him in the middle of a dungeon, this can be restored quickly, getting more experience. This served the youtuber and his friends to complete the ‘Champion’s Demise’ dungeon over and over again.
Even so, Rob’s company is not enough for his name to be immortalized in history. Last week the company launched a kind of contest, for which the first 1,000 players Upon reaching level 100 in hardcore mode, you will be able to inscribe your name on the statue of Lilith at the Blizzard offices.
The main difference between Hardcore mode and normal mode is that if you die, your character and all of their progress are permanently deleted and you must start a new game. Are you up for the challenge? There is a deadline until September 1 to get it, if by that date the 1,000 have not been filled, the opportunity will be lost forever.
Diablo IV is now available for all users of PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PCalthough some players are experiencing issues on PlayStation. Check out our in-progress Diablo IV review for all the details of Lilith’s return to Sanctuary in one of the year’s RPG adventures.
