Breaks in animes, mangas, comics, and more are never pleasant. We are not only talking about breaks between seasons of series or waiting for the sequel of a movie, but also cuts in the middle of stories that force us to wait for weeks or months. Recently we have seen the cases of Jujutsu Kaisen, One Piece and Boku no Hero Academia, among others.
Now it's the turn of One Punch Man. It is not the first time in 2024 that the manga has announced stops. One was announced last March. Now we know thanks to @MangaMoguraRE that the manga will suffer another hiatus. This means that fans will not see new content until August 22 of this year.
We have no reasons to justify this new wait, but at least we can say that we know when it will return and that the plans regarding the next launch have not been altered. Volume 23 of the manga will be released on July 4, 2024, as long as there are no last minute changes. The last publication was on May 30 and gave us No. 200.
As for the rest of the productions of One Punch Man, we remind you that the live-action film will be produced by Sony Entertainment, directed by Justin Lin (Full Gas) and whose script is written by Dan Harmon and Heather Anne Campbell, known for Rick and Morty. On the other hand, the anime presented the trailer for its Season 3 at the end of February along with the release date.
