Good news. The story of the shooter Warhammer 40,000: Space Marines 2 we won't finish in one evening. This is good news considering that the developers at Saber Interactive have focused on co-op, endless PvE action and exciting PvP combat in addition to the campaign.
Campaign in the shoes of the legendary space marine Demetrian Titus in the fight against the forces of Tyranids and Chaos it will take approximately 12 hours. You can enjoy the story alone, as well as in the company of up to two other players. We have to add to that six unique maps and endless PvE action, which is further complemented by PvP consisting of three modes: Annihilation (Team Deathmatch), Seize Ground (Domination) and Capture and Control (King of the Hill).
In PvE and PvP modes you will be able to choose one of six available classes. Additionally, the game will be regularly expanded upon release. The developers are preparing new missions for Operations (PvE), new maps for PvP, as well as additional weapons and new opponents. All of this will be free for all owners of the game. The Season Pass only unlocks more cosmetics. They won't be in the game no microtransactions.
For now, you can watch the behind-the-scenes development trailer. The developers built Space Marine 2 on their own Swarm enginewhich they also used in World War Z. This will allow us to fight massive Tyranid hordes.
It's just a shame the public beta was cancelled. In her place, Saber is concentrating on the final stage of development. This is in the sign of optimization and error correction.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 releases on September 9, 2024 with Czech subtitles on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
