There is no doubt that Assassin's Creed or Far Cry are some of the great current sagas from Ubisoft. However, the French company has been bringing back in one way or another other great classics of its own. At the beginning of the year we had Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and just a few days ago the remastered version of Beyond Good & Evil was released, which opens the door more than ever to its sequel.
However, these are not the only licenses forgotten by Ubisoft. In that sense, a Beloved Ubisoft character has appeared as an addition to Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary and fans, as expected, are already speculating on whether it could be a clue about his return. We are talking about the legendary Raymana character also created by Michel Ancel, who has made an appearance in this recent release.
Rayman is back, although maybe not how you expected
It was YouTube user RajmanGaming who has shared the video that you will see belowjust over a minute long, and which shows how Jade and Zerdy meet Rayman exploring Hillys in a secret cave. Specifically, we can see the Ubisoft character with his feet on the ceiling and upside down. Once located, a card appears exactly the same as the one shown when you discover a new species of animal and, immediately after, a brief video fragment which serves as a making of the character, closely linked to the existence of Beyond Good & Evil.
Of course, the presence of Rayman It has no further implications than that of a mere winkat least until Ubisoft says otherwise. It's no wonder fans are eager for a new adventure for this character, as there hasn't been a mainline game since 2013, when Rayman Legends was released to overwhelming critical and public success.
However, fans have also been waiting for Beyond Good & Evil 2 for many years. The surprise release of the 20th Anniversary version of the first part opens the door more than ever, as Ubisoft itself has indicated that this version has a new exclusive mission that would connect both installments.
