In this continuation we have again Scott as a director and will take place decades after the events of the first film. Our protagonist will be luciusthe son of Lucilla and nephew of commodus, in his adulthood. The person in charge of putting himself in the skin of the character will be Paul Mescal (Aftersun) and we will see some familiar faces, since Connie Nielsen (Wonder Woman), Derek Jacobi (Tolkien) and Djimon Hounsou (Shazam!) come back as Lucilla, Senator Graccus and Juba respectively.
