One of the characteristics present in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple, and that has been inherited from Pokémon Legends: Arceus, is the fact that during the adventure there will be day and night cycles that will pass every certain amount of time. That will influence the Pokémon that will appear, as we will see in the following guide that we have prepared.
All Pokémon that appear day and night
Each day and night cycle of the game has a duration of 72 minutes and uses its own internal clock. The only way to force it to progress faster is to change the time on your console, but luckily this feature mainly only affects Pokémon that appear in the wild and certain evolutions, so it’s not really necessary unless you need it. you are in too much of a hurry.
To give you a better idea, sunrise lasts 6 minutes. Then we have the day that lasts half an hour, from there it goes to sunset that also lasts 6 minutes and finally night comes with the remaining half hour. Hence the 72 minutes that the entire cycle lasts.
All this is important to take into account because certain Pokémon are exclusive to certain periods of the dayso take good note of the list in case you are looking for one in particular so that you know better when it will appear.
