CD Projekt RED's masterpiece, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, arrived in 2015, which means it's been almost ten years since it became one of the best RPGs of all time. However, that long doesn't mean that all the secrets have been revealed, as today we have one that offers a A completely different look at the end of the video game.
And now they have An alternative ending to The Witcher 3 has been discovered a decade later And, if that weren't enough, they have used the recently released official tool REDkit to recreate it with images from the game so that we can get a clearer idea of how the Polish company approached it. This is what The Witcher 3 could have been like with an alternative ending
The fragments recreated in the video above take place after the Battle of Undvik, where Geralt and his allies defeat Eredin and his Wild Huntbut they lose Crach an Craite along the way. In this alternate ending, the Witcher loses consciousness and wakes up a few days later in a tent in the Nilfgaardian camp, with Ciri missing at the hands of Avallac'h and reunited with Cerys and Hjalmar in the father's funeral. They are later joined by Triss and Yennefer and they go to another tent where the rest of the Lodge's sorceresses are: Philippa, Fringilla and Margarita.
They all begin to perform a ritual to determine Ciri's location, but it is interrupted by the appearance of Emhyr, who takes them away. to arrest and execute after having reached an agreement with Yennefer, although the sorceress of Vengerberg gives Triss some kind of device so that she can escape. Geralt's reaction to Yennefer is anger and disbelief, but the sorceress argues that she is capable of anything to get Ciri back.

Finally CD Projekt decided to discard this whole gameplay fragment and take us directly on the trail of Avallac'h and CiriHowever, the fact that this entire recreation features the voices of the original actors suggests that it was in a very advanced state and was scrapped at or near the last minute.
