The fanart, with cold colors and an excellent overall finish, reinterprets a scene from chapter 98 in which Asa Mitaka is lying on the ground after receive a deep wound to the face due to the attack of one of her classmates. @raikoart decided to capture precisely that dramatic moment, adding a disturbing reflection of the Demon of War in the pool of blood that arose from Asa's wound.
In the original manga, the Demon of War appeared represented in the form of a kind of owl that, upon observing Asa seriously injured and a few moments from dying, offered him save her in exchange for being able to use her body.
