The long-awaited patch is probably going to have an incomparable experience for players who remember some of the fights of certain feared villains and emblematic.
For many fans, some villains should have had a lot more impact than they did in the previous expansions. This is why this ninth expansion could be the ideal for some characters to become more relevant, especially since a new rumor that has taken more and more force due to an information provided by the Dragonflight story.
Azshara could return in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight
Azshara, Queen of the Naga, has been an iconic character in World of Warcraft since the release of the third expansion called World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. Get up, get up! Our Queen calls us from beyond the Threshold Veil. She has transcended the Circle of Stars and basks in her eternal greatness! The time we have waited for so long is near. Even now, the Herald gathers the children of the first flesh to recover what was lost. They must remember their vows and serve those to whom they owe faith.
On the first page you can see that it talks about a queen who must recover what was lost and, to our surprise, Azshara is the Queen of the Naga. In fact, on the second page it is emphasized that it speaks of the depths, which would refer to the kingdom of Nazjatar.
While they toil in the depths, we will journey to the shores of the dragonlands, to the blessed isle where the Worldbreaker first embraced whispers. When one storm recedes, another rises. The torches have been lit. The secrets he buried will strike like a dagger into the hearts of his kin!
This would certainly be great news for fans of the game, as it would mean that the iconic old foe would be back in full force. While this could mean for many the return of old battles and memorable wars, it would also mean that we will have new challenges ahead, especially when it comes to “a hunger lost for centuries will be recovered”.
The Herald speaks of a primordial power that seeks the end of Order. Such anger can be bent to serve our ends. A hunger lost for centuries will be recovered. A dark heart left broken waits to be taken. When these things happen, the Herald will fulfill the final prophecy and complete the awakening. Only then will our Queen reign again over the sea and the sky and the earth. We must prepare. Get up, get up! Soon all that was hidden will be revealed.
Considering the inscriptions on the last two pages, it all points to Azshara having a very important role in the end of Dragon Isles and Dragonflights, because his army could wake up to fulfill a prophecy that could be linked to a great war. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see what one of World of Warcraft’s most pivotal characters brings to Dragonflight.
