We live in the era of the definitive boom in video game adaptations to other media. One of the lucky ones is Fallout, which is seeing its universe transformed into a live action series by Prime Video. Now, in that sense, and after knowing that in Obsidian want to make a new FalloutIt has been filtered an image of the Fallout series that shows an iconic location of the saga and that makes us think that we could be facing a new example of faithful adaptation. There is still a long way to go and there are more unknowns than certainties, but this first unofficial image lifts the spirits of fans of the Bethesda franchise.
The image has been shared by Twitter user J Carson (via PC Gamer) and shows a great recreation of the Red Rocket gas station from Fallout 4, one of the first locations we visit after leaving the fallout shelter and where we meet Meatball, our faithful dog companion. Destroyed cars, dilapidated building and even what appears to be a nuka cola vending machine. All the details of the image raise our expectations through the roof with a Fallout series that, for the moment, the only thing that has been made official are the main faces of the cast.

The person in charge of the saga in Bethesda, Todd Howard, explained a few weeks ago that they had decided to make the series have an original story and not recycle any of the video games. With this focus already decided, for now we do not know what the premiere date of the episodic fiction will be on Prime Video, but we dream that we can start enjoying it this same year.
