ASUS reinforces its dominance in Spain by leading the gaming market and reaching second position in consumer laptops. The company has presented its results at the ASUS City event, confirming its growth in different segments and the strength of its ASUS Business division for companies. This 2024, ASUS celebrates its 35th anniversary, consolidating itself as a benchmark in technological and computer solutions in the country.

During the annual ASUS City event held in Madrid, the company shared its results for 2023 and the first quarter of 2024 in Spain. ASUS has managed to climb to second position in the consumer laptop market, reaching a 20.1% share, which represents a growth of 1.4 points compared to the previous year. This position is due to the combination of laptops, components and peripherals offered under the ASUS and Republic of Gamers (ROG) brands.
In the gaming segment, ASUS maintains its leadership, consolidating itself as the first brand in this market. The company dominates the motherboard segment with 46% of the market and has climbed to second position in the graphics card market, with a 23.3% share. Furthermore, ASUS positions itself as the third brand in the LCD monitor marketreaching 11.8% of the market thanks to the boost in sales in the consumer channel.
Another notable point is the integration of the NUC line of mini PCswith which ASUS has reached second position in this segment with a 27% share. This growth is also reflected in the B2B sector, where ASUS has gained presence thanks to its wide range of products adapted to various business needs.
Growth in the B2B segment is driven by ASUS' dominance in the motherboard market, its expansion in the mini PC segment and the consolidation of its monitor range. The company has highlighted its commitment to sustainability, a fundamental pillar at a global and regional level. ASUS moves towards the goal of 0 emissions by 2050using 1,600 tons of recycled plastic in its equipment since 2017 and recycling 40,000 tons of electronic waste since 2019. In addition, the energy efficiency of its products exceeds 34% ENERGY STAR standards.
