Since the coronavirus, Sony has been ignoring most trade shows and presentations. It's all the more surprising PlayStation among this year's exhibitors Tokyo Game Show. The blue console will be present at the home fair for the first time since 2019.
Sony PlayStation can be found in the published list of exhibitors. It is stated in it 731 companies, including the likes of Square Enix, Sega, Bandai Namco, Koei Tecmo, Ubisoft or THQ Nordic. Conversely, Microsoft is not currently on the list with Xbox. The green console is generally weaker in Asia, and the American company is focusing on other markets.
According to the organizers, Tokyo Game Show 2024 will be Japan's biggest trade show to date. A total will be available to visitors 3190 stalls with the latest games and accessories. The question is what to expect from Sony. Personally, I don't expect any big announcements, but visitors will be able to play at one of the larger booths. Nor from Nintendo we shouldn't expect much as it will be closed in the business section. So there will definitely be no news about the successor to the Switch.
