North American studio Obsidian is always one to keep in mind. It is no wonder, since just two days ago they were celebrating their twenty-first anniversary, which shows their extensive experience creating video games, especially within the RPG genre. This year they are back at it with Avowedan action role-playing game set in its own Pillars of Eternity universe that will be packed with possibilities, including three factions to choose from.
Although the expectation for the title is maximum, there are fans who are not very fond of playing video games in first person. For them we have good news, since it has been confirmed that Avowed will have a third-person mode, one of the most anticipated features and that has always been something fixed in the works of another reference of the genre such as Bethesda, which always gives this option to users whether the game is The Elder Scrolls, a Fallout or the most recent Starfield.
Avowed will have a third-person mode
As you can see in the video found above these lines, the feature was revealed unexpectedly in a streaming event hours after the Xbox Game Showcase last Sunday. There they talked about the third person mode and we were allowed to see what Avowed looks like in this way, as you have in the image which heads this same article.
Obsidian and project director Carrie Patel also talked about the aforementioned factions that will be part of the adventure and that will give us many possibilities throughout the main story and other functions and details of the video game, such as the Progression system, skill trees and inventory managementfundamental characteristics in any RPG worth its salt.

Avowed is still going on right now no official release date. And although hours after the Xbox Showcase it was announced through a statement that it would be available on November 12, that information was deleted a few minutes later. Be that as it may, Avowed will arrive in 2024 on Xbox Series X|S and PC and it will also do so from day one and at no additional cost to Xbox Game Pass.
