Horror movie fans are in luck. After terrorizing a new generation of young people, Pennywiseone of the most terrifying clowns in cinema, will be back in a very interesting project with the actor who gave him life seven years ago.
Thanks to the American media Deadline, we have learned that Bill Skarsgård will once again don the killer clown suit in Welcome to Derrya prequel series to the It saga that will arrive exclusively on Max sometime in 2025.
The series will once again feature Andy Muschietti, director of the duology, who has confirmed that he will direct four of the nine episodes planned for the first season. His sister, Barbara Muschietti, and Jason Fuchs will executive produce.
The series was born as a result of Andy Muschietti's adaptation of Stephen King's novel; the director created original material to bring more life to the world of Item. After several years in the pipeline, Warner has given him his own series after the enormous success of the films.
