Sony's State of Play has begun with a particularly long presentation, first with a cinematic and then with a gameplay commented by the developers. The protagonist of this beginning is called concord and is part of the company's new commitment to multiplayer video games.
We are talking about an Overwatch-style experience: face two teams of five players (5vs5) on maps with different objectives. Already from the cinematic, which also had a Guardians of the Galaxy reel, it was clear to us that there were classes: tanks, supports and even a gunman with a revolver. The gameplay has finally confirmed it.
“Choose from a wide list of characters and role types, each with unique abilities and personalities. Take on rival Freegunner teams in space assaults,” the official description reads. It will have six modes and a good number of different maps.
concord It will arrive on PS5 and PC simultaneously on August 23, 2024. If it has caught your attention, it will have a beta in July for both platforms. There is no doubt that Helldivers 2 has shown Sony that multiplayer video game releases on PC are a good idea and Concord will follow in its footsteps.
