Valve surprisingly announced a direct sequel to Counter Strike. Having supported CS:GO for so long, we didn’t expect a new iteration of the franchise to even be in the works. However, having been accidentally discovered in the Dota 2 source code after a recent update, Valve was quick to announce CS2 so as not to destroy the surprise. Although, we did not expect that the game would also bring a surprise before its launch, because Counter Strike 2 advances the announcement of Left 4 Dead 3 within its source code.
As happened after the update to Valve’s MOBA, Dota 2, was published, users have already been able to access a part of the Counter Strike 2 source code. This has led dataminers to discover a curious label inside the game that references a Valve product supposedly in development. This information has been shared by the Alfabetajuega.com medium, and from what they have shared, the title “Left 4 Dead 3” is explicitly declared within Counter Strike 2.
They discover that Counter Strike 2 advances the announcement of Left 4 Dead 3, just as it happened with the sequel to the Shooter in Dota 2
Left 4 Dead has long been one of the benchmarks when it comes to making a survival and zombie shooter in which a group of players need to collaborate to get from point “A” to “B” in a moderately safe way. Left 4 Dead managed to captivate all the players at the time thanks to its second installmentwhich is still being played today due to the great support of the modder community and players who love the game.

The user who has revealed this image comes from Reddit, however, the veracity of said publication can still be doubted. As many will know, even if it is a meme, the reality is that Valve has never made it a priority to create third parties of its great works. So, it is likely that we will never see a third installment of the famous zombie saga, or maybe Left 4 Dead is the first Valve IP to break this rule.
