SEGA will focus on new features for the franchise next year
SEGA has surprisingly announced a new Sonic Centrala live event in which the company will offer news about the upcoming developments in the franchise, which is already preparing projects, collaborations and events for next year. In this way, the broadcast will focus on them, although it is true that it could also include new trailers for Sonic x Shadow Generations and Sonic 3, the movie.
Sonic Central has been running for a few years now as an annual broadcast lasting between 10 and 20 minutes. This year's edition will take place this very Tuesday, September 24 at 6:00 p.m. (peninsular time)although it is unknown how long it will last this time.

To remind you, the last Sonic Central had Sonic Superstarsthe latest 2D platformer in the franchise, which also featured an unexpected collaboration with LEGO. The broadcast also teased the series of Knucklesnow streaming on SkyShowtime, along with details on the third live-action film.
Among the other announcements was the free update of Sonic FrontiersSonic Speed Simulator, a Roblox game; Sonic PrimeNetflix series; Sonic Prime Dasha runner from the Netflix games catalogue; Sonic Symphony, a concert tour; and a look at new merchandising.
What to expect from Sonic Central 2024
Beyond the trailer for Sonic x Shadow Generations, which could review the main game along with its additional story, starring Shadow in a central area similar to that of Sonic Frontiers in which access to classic levels of the saga will be found, The live stream could feature Sonic Rumble.
Sonic Rumble is A Fall Guys-style game coming to mobile devices inviting players to run through all kinds of levels in a game that up to 32 people can enjoy at the same time. All this after Dr. Eggman creates a cheerful toy world in which Sonic, Tails, Shadow or Knuckles become the protagonists of this title that will allow you to create avatars throughout the games.
