Capcom has been the protagonist of one of the biggest surprises of the last week. After announcing that it will be the last company to hold an event of its own during the beginning of this summer, the Japanese caught everyone off guard with the announcement of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, a «remake» of the first game from his popular zombie franchise.

The company itself has confirmed that Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster makes use of the RE EngineCapcom's own graphics engine, which it has used for games such as the recent Resident Evil 4 Remake, Street Fighter 6 and Dragon's Dogma 2.
