The Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe It has not started as everyone wanted, that is evident. The premiere of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has not left fans of the franchise entirely happy and it is obvious that the House of Ideas must act with caution if they do not want to continue losing followers in the coming years.
One of the great assets to avoid this loss of viewers is Avengers: The Kang Dynastythe fifth installment of one of the most successful sagas in the history of cinema.
However, it seems that this new movie will bring a completely renewed group of avengers. That’s how he commented Bob Igercurrent CEO of Disney, during the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecommunications Conference that Deadline was able to attend.
“There is nothing inherently out of place in terms of the Marvel brand. I think we just have to see what characters and stories we’re drawing from. If you look at Marvel’s trajectory over the next five years, there’s going to be a lot going on. Let’s go back to the franchise from the avengers with a whole new set of superheroesFor example”.
These statements were quite to be expected, since seeing how the UCM has evolved since Endgame, it was inevitable to see a completely renewed group of Avengers. Several young heroes (and not so young) have been appearing over the last few years to take over from Tony Stark, Steve Rogers and company.
The new Black Panther, Iron Heart, Captain Marvel or even Daredevil are some of the names that are most likely to end up in this very unique group, but we will not know anything about them until the premiere of Avengers 5 approaches the next May 2, 2025.
