Disney+ increases the price again and adds an “extra access”: this is how all the plans remain

Just a few days ago, Disney implemented the measure that other services like Netflix have been using for some time: prohibiting sharing accounts with people outside the family unit. In this way, the company intends to increase the number of subscriptions to its service, in order to increase the profitability of the format. And, as expected, this change has been accompanied by a Disney+ price increase.

Disney+ is raising the price again in its different plans after the company has reached the limit it set to obtain profitability with the service. Specifically, the company stipulated that 2024 should be the last year in which the service would stop making losses, and for that reason, starting next October 17 the price of the Standard and Premium plan will increase slightly priced.

Specifically, the price of Disney+ has not increased considerably, since in total we will be facing an increase of 1 or 2 eurosdepending on the plan. The standard monthly plan will go from 8.99 euros to 9.99 euros per month, while the annual subscription will go from 89.90 euros to 99.90 euros. Somewhat higher is the increase in the premium plan, which goes from 11.99 euros to 13.99 euros per month, as well as from 119.90 euros to 139.90 euros per year.

In addition, another important development with the Disney+ changes has to do with the so-called “extra access”. As with Netflix, this will allow a household other than the main one to connect to the subscription, in exchange for an extra payment. Specifically, if we want this access for the standard plan, we will have to pay Additional 4.99 euros per monthwhile if it is for the premium plan, we will have to pay Additional 5.99 euros per month.
