Four years have passed since BioWare released its last game, the controversial Anthem, and almost a decade since the previous installment of the successful saga. Dragon Age. We have known for some time that this same franchise will be the protagonist of its next game, but we have known very few details about it until now. It doesn’t look like that’s going to change anytime soon.
And now we have known that Dragon Age Dreadwolf would not show new content this summer despite what the fans expected. It has been the well-known journalist and insider Jeff Grubb who has dropped it in a recent publication on his Twitter account with which he has managed to lower the soufflé of a fandom in need of joy and good news.
Dragon Age Dreadwolf would not reappear this summer either
The truth is that BioWare is taking the return of Dragon Age calmly. Only a couple of teasers that they have shown nothing of the game and few or no announcements that talk about its plot or characters, beyond what we know is already playable from start to finishwhich is great news.
In response to a fan asking specifically about the summer period, Jeff Grubb noted that I didn’t expect Dragon Age Dreadwolf news this summer. Grubb has hit on BioWare-related news in the past, such as the Mass Effect Legendary Edition announcement.
Electronic Arts already skipped the EA Play Live last year, but it is hoped that it will return this year despite not yet having a confirmed date. Be that as it may, and if it is held at the end, it seems that Dragon Age Dreadwolf will not be part of the event. Games that could be there would be Immortals of Aveum and the great cast of sports games from the company, with the renewed EA Sports FC 23 at the forefront.

The good news for Dragon Age
Despite the lack of information about the expected Dreadwolf, the fourth installment of the Dragon Age saga, the fans of the saga have had good news in recent times. In addition to being playable from start to finish as we’ve discussed before, we also recently learned that BioWare had Refished Mark Darrah for the role of consultant who can offer his expert knowledge on the lore of the saga so that the script and the story of the new game have coherence and cohesion within the game universe.
