With no trailer and no details, From Software announced that the first Elden Ring DLC will be called Shadow of the Erdtree and it’s already on the way. We tell you all the details, below!
The developer FromSoftware and its publisher bandai namco announced that the Elden Ring DLC will be a reality and will be called Shadow of the Erdtree. The announcement was made through a simple a tweet which showed some concept art inspired by the saga but without too many details. What we do know is that there are going to be lots of broken bones and deaths.
In the image, a long-haired, blonde figure is seen riding a saddle in what appears to be a desolate field filled with ghosts. In the background, the titular Erdtree is seen against a dark background. “Get up, Smudge, and let’s walk a new path together“, says the tweet of the announcement. “A new expansion for Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree (“the shadow of the Erdtree”) is currently in development. We hope you look forward to new adventures in the Middle Lands.“. The announcement does not name any release date.
