Marvel's comic book universes are preparing to welcome an old acquaintance who represents an icon in Popular Culture: Godzilla. The company announced a few days ago that it will reprint the classic comics of the crossover, which dates back to the 1970s and will hit stores in September 2024.
We are talking about a 24-issue series by Doug Moench and Herb Trimpe (Godzilla #1 Facsimile Edition and Godzilla: The Original Marvel Years Omnibus) and they will be released with a novelty: they will be in color for the first time. A very brief summary would be that the beast is going to face off against all of Marvel, regardless of whether they are heroes or villains.
Marvel announced up to 15 alternative covers dedicated to the return of this crossover, which include The Avengers, X Men, The Fantastic FourSpider-Man and Deadpool, among many others. However, the one we are interested in today has to do with one of the most iconic villains of the family: Galactus.

Fantastic Four #25 features one of the most epic variant covers. We see Galactus and Godzilla fighting hand to hand while the Fantastic Four flee in terror before the enormous power of both. It is a long-awaited confrontation. In this case, the villain will once again threaten the Earth and the beast will be its protector. In other words: a brutal clash of titans.
