Warning: Spoilers for chapter 261 of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga
Gege Akutami continues to step on the accelerator to the maximum with the last chapters of the manga Jujutsu Kaisen. After leaving us speechless with last week's episode, the mangaka has made it clear that anything is possible within the world of sorcery.
As the previous episode ended, many thought that Gojo had returned from the dead to fight Sukuna one last time. However, to everyone's surprise, although his body was that of Satoru, after seeing the seams on his head, we soon realized that he was someone else: Yuta Okkotsu.
Through a flashback, Akutami explains to us that the last plan to defeat Sukuna was that Okkotsu, with the power of Kenjaku, transferred his brain into Gojo's lifeless body. Obviously, this procedure carried risks, since, although both are distant relatives and belong to the same lineage, in the worst case scenario, Yuta would only survive five minutes before Kenjaku's technique, stolen by Rikait stopped taking effect.
Thus, the young sorcerer will face a last battle against the King of Curses, who still has the strength for one more round against the body of the most powerful sorcerer today. Unfortunately, to know the outcome of this battle, we will have to wait two weeks, since Akutami has decided to take a week off.
