Now yes: Diablo IV is already available for everyone and on all platforms, regardless of the edition you have purchased. The launch of the game is going as we expected and warned Blizzard: exciting, but with problems on the servers. It is nothing new, rather a classic of the company.
Luckily, there is a way to take advantage of queue times and errors when connecting: Twitch Drops! You can get upgrades and cosmetic items by watching streams from people who are playing Diablo IV. Many streamers have already completed the campaign and are deep into endgame, so there’s not much risk of spoilers.
Diablo IV drops on Twitch start today, June 6, 1:00 a.m. CEST. They will extend over four weeks, each dedicated to a class. If you don’t get the accounts, it’s because this week is dedicated to two classes: Necromancer and Rogue. All you have to do is watch shows that have the drops activated. Three important points:
- The hours needed to get the drops they accumulate. That is to say: you can watch an hour in the morning and the rest in the afternoon, for example.
- The hours they do not reset when you change direct or interrupt viewing. You can watch an hour with one streamer and the rest with another without fear.
- you must link your accounts from Twitch and Blizzard: Sign in to your Battle.net account. > Go to the Battle.net Connections page > Click Connect next to Twitch and follow the instructions.
