In the last few hours, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts has revealed which video games are nominated for the awards BAFTA 2023one of the most prestigious that are delivered every year and that this time will serve to name the best games that were published last year in a few different categories.
However, what has happened this year is something very surprising, because God of War Ragnarök has made history by getting a total of 14 nominationssomething that has never happened with any other game since these awards began in 2004. However, it does not mean that it is present in 14 different categories, because for example two of them are part of the best leading role and another four of the Best Supporting Performance.
Among other awards that he chooses to win is the best narrative, best soundtrack, best artistic section and of course the best game of the year. In the latter case, it will rival Cult of the Lamb, Elden Ring, Marvel Snap, Stray and Vampire Survivors. will be the March 30th when all the winners will be announced and when we will find out if Sony Santa Monica’s masterpiece manages to prevail over all the others.
Until then, here you have the list with all the nominees.
