Nobody loses their mind when talking about dozens of video games, but when GTA VI comes out on stage… People go crazy! The Rockstar Games franchise arouses passions, especially the long-running and acclaimed GTA VI (and GTA Online). Seen what has been seen, it is not for less that many people are on the brink of mental collapse with everything that could come in the new installment.
Rockstar Games and Take-Two are well aware of the extremely high expectations for GTA VI. So much so that the CEO of Take-Two, strauss zelnick, has clarified Rockstar Games’ goals for the game in an interview with The Aarthi and Sriram Show. It’s not turkey mucus: seek perfection.
I think it’s a challenge that the people at Rockstar face every time there’s a new version of Grand Theft Auto. On the one hand, it must be something you’ve never seen before, and it must reflect the feeling we have about Grand Theft Auto. That is a great challenge for the team. Now, Rockstar’s response is simply to seek perfection; seek nothing less than perfection, and we will achieve it.
Zelnick points out that there is a very fragile balance between the different installments, since they must maintain the essence and tone of the series. To this is added that Rockstar Games must adapt to advances in technology to offer a video game that lives up to expectations. In other words: Rockstar Games’ goal with GTA VI It is perfection and they are clear that they will achieve it.
We haven’t heard much about GTA VI since the famous leak that nearly took the internet down. Most of the information we have comes from theories and reconstructions from the leaked material. The little we know is that the development is “very advanced” and that it could be launched as early as 2024.
