Several weeks ago we heard a piece of news that caught us all off guard: hellboy will have a reboot after the resounding failure of the 2019 reboot. The paranormal investigator from hell itself will have a movie again in the coming years, and as expected, we will have new actor for the role of Anung un Rama.
Via Deadline, President Millennium Media, jonathan yunger announced that Jack Kesy is the man chosen to star in Hellboy: The Crooked Man, joining Ron Perlman and David Harbor as the superhero on the big screen. This is how Yunger commented on Kesy’s choice in a statement.
“Jack Kesy is a dynamic actor who has the ability to transform into anyone depending on his role. His talent and stature are perfect for this young Hellboy. I was very impressed with him as we worked together on The Outpost”.
Kesy, in addition to The Outpost, also had her appearance in Marvel as Black Tom Cassidy in Deadpool 2a recurring enemy mutant in the comics capable of manipulating, bonding, and projecting energy through plant life.
The film, which will begin filming in the coming months, will place us with a young hellboy stranded in rural Appalachia on the 50’s with a rookie agent BPRD There they discover a small community haunted by witches, led by a local demon with a disturbing connection to Anung un Rama’s past.
