It is now possible to experience the burning rhythm of hell in the demo of Metal: Hellsinger VR, the rhythm shooter developed by Lab42 Games and The Outsiders that will be released in autumn 2024. This demo, which is available on Steam, was announced at the Upload VR Showcase. By the way, the game has texts in Spanish.
Demo content
The Metal: Hellsinger VR Demo Includes Voke and Stygia, the game's first two missions, along with four weapons: Peace, your faithful and eloquent skull, which will also burn your enemies with fiery rays; Terminus, a devilishly agile sword; The Hounds, two demonic twin pistols; and Persephone, a shotgun with a thunderous bark that perfectly matches its bite and rhythm.
As part of the Upload VR Showcase, the demo was presented in a new video starring the guitarist and vocalist of the heavy metal band Trivium, Matt Heafy. In this game players can aim freely and shoot according to the rhythm.
Just like in the original game, Each weapon has a powerful ultimate ability that will devastate enemies, like the double-tempo slashes of the Terminus sword or the impressive lightning of the Paz skull. In the Steam demo you have to kill the infernal hordes to the rhythm of the soundtrack composed by the duo Two Feathers and performed by metal legends such as Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Matt Heafy (Trivium) and Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy).
As we have mentioned previously, Metal: Hellsinger VR will be released in autumn 2024 and will be available for PC (Windows), Meta Quest 2 and 3, Meta Quest Pro and PlayStation VR2. As for the price of the full game, more information is expected to be revealed as the release date approaches.
