The entire cast that has brought the Avengers to life will be forever marked by millions of people around the world and it is no wonder. The performers accompanied us for more than a decade with All kinds of adventures in the MCUand even they have come to form a pine cone.
This is what Jeremy Renner himself has acknowledged to Men's Health, who played the role of Hawkeye in numerous Marvel films. And it is not an imposed position, since the actor has clarified that, after his accident, many of his colleagues were permanently concerned about his state of health.
“Yeah, it's real, it's not just for Instagram. We hate that shit,” says Renner, who was visited by Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd and Sam Rockwell during his convalescence in hospital. He explained the brotherhood that unites them all:
“We have a group chat and we've had it for a long time. When you work with people, look, we all go through a culturally significant experience together. And there are divorces, marriages and babies – a lot of things happened in those 12 years.
In the movies, we look like we're at a costume party, there are ridiculous props and we're doing these ridiculous things, but it's also beautiful because we're all connected. There is a brotherhood or whatever you want to call it. I call it love. I love you all. I'd rather go to jail with [Robert] Downey than doing something amazing alone. I'd rather have a car accident with [Chris] Evans”
For now, Renner's condition is not optimaland although he has returned to acting, he is clear that he cannot play roles that require a lot of him. There are rumors of his return for the second season of Hawkeye, although for now it is unknown if it will actually happen.
