The year 2025 will be packed with big releases, and while many are focused on Marvel, one of Warner's biggest films is also coming to theaters: Superman. Little is known about the film yet, but one of the aspects that has generated the most buzz is, without a doubt, the suit.
The last one to comment on Clark Kent's new suit has been Zack Snyderwho was in charge of DC before the arrival of James Gunn. Now, in an interview with the American media The Hollywood Handle, the filmmaker expressed his enthusiasm for seeing this version of the Man of Steel on the big screen.
“I'm going to say it: Let's see it on film. I'm interested to see how it works, you know, as a piece of storytelling. Yeah, but I'm excited. I'm excited to see it.”
It was undeniable that many compared Superman's new suit to the version he wore Henry Cavillbut Snyder wanted to be clear: we will first have to see how the costume worn by David Corenswet fits into the final version of the film before drawing conclusions.
Snyder's attitude toward the new DC universe is remarkably respectful. Even though his universe didn't have a happy ending, he wholeheartedly supports the franchise and is looking forward to seeing what James Gunn and his team do in the future. Superman will hit theaters around the world on July 11, 2025.
