A quirky and dexterous cheerleader starts mowing down zombies with a motorbike after summer vacation. From the first trailer on Lollipop Chainsaw RePop we learned the exact release date and were able to look at gameplay footage.
Fans should know that neither Suda51 nor James Gunn are involved in the remake. The project is in charge of the studio Dragami Games, which wants to offer players the possibility play this event in both the remastered version and the original form.
RePop is supposed to be the definitive version with no changes to the story. Instead, it focuses on improving the overall quality of the game and other content. Among other things, this includes improvements to the combat, as shown in today's video.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePop will be released on September 25 this year for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. On PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the game will run in 4K at 60fps, while on Switch it will run in 1080p at 30fps. Similar quality can be expected on the Xbox Series S.
