The PlayStation Showcase held yesterday left several important news, especially the announcement of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the long-awaited remake of the third installment, which will reach all next-generation platforms in the future. In addition, there were also other big surprises, such as the confirmation of the release date of Alan Wake 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the Remedy Entertainment title. However, one of the hits of the year went unnoticed.
We are talking about Immortals of Aveum, the game created by EA Originals (a program that has already offered titles of the quality of It Takes Two), which offers a first-person shooter proposal, but which is far removed from what is traditionally seen in the genre. And last night, we could see the first gameplay of Immortals of Aveum in depthbeyond what was shown a few weeks ago in its first trailer.
Immortals of Aveum gameplay sports fantastic graphics
As we can see in this first gameplay of the game, Ascendant Studios seems to have done a fantastic job, both in terms of setting and in regards to the technical finish of the game. Although it will not be a benchmark as the generation progresses, the truth is that the game executes the lighting and particle effects really wellwhich are abundant throughout the entire title.

Regarding the playable terms, its creators already warned a few days ago that the game takes ideas from well-known sagas such as Bioshock or Doom, something that we can see from the first moment with a gameplay that promises to be really frenetic, where both the use of spells (which would come to replace firearms), as well as some melee attacks will be crucial to kill all the enemies that will be on the screen.
For now it is too early to reach a conclusion about the game, but there is no doubt that this Immortals of Aveum gameplay has generated certain expectations regarding the title, which could become one of the great covers of the summer, especially since it is a time when great releases are conspicuous by their absence. Be that as it may, it won’t take us long to find out if this is really the case, since the game developed by Ascendant Studios will hit the market on July 20 for Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
