James Cameron is a content-creating machine. While he continues to film and produce the new installments of the Avatar saga, the American director is also involved in other important projects, and now he has another one that promises to be a great success.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Cameron spoke at length about his career and future projects he has in mind, at which point he confirmed that he is already working on a new installment of the franchise. TerminatorHowever, he did not want to reveal many details about it.
“It's classified information. I wouldn't want to have to send a potentially dangerous robotic agent if you talk about it, even retroactively,” Cameron joked, while discussing the interesting ideas other filmmakers are exploring within the universe of Terminatorsuch as the Netflix anime and the Sarah Connor Chronicles series.
While this project has great potential, it is important to note that Cameron is deeply committed to the saga. Avatar. Therefore, it is likely that in this new installment of TerminatorCameron takes on a more producing or writing role, rather than directing.
