Despite the fact that Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has not started in the best way, the next film from the House of Ideas hopes to have a much bigger impact on the franchise, since it is about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
For those who do not know, this third installment will be the last in which we see the Star Lord group as such, since, apart from Gunn’s departure to DC, after almost a decade together there is not much more to say about these characters. Luckily, this last tape will be the Longest in the entire franchise.
So Gunn himself has confirmed it through his Instagram account, where he has responded to a user about the duration of this third party. Although he has not commented on the exact duration that the film will have, we can guide ourselves from the two previous installments of the franchise:
- Guardians of the Galaxy lasts 2 hours and 2 minutes.
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is 2 hours and 17 minutes long.
Knowing the duration of both movies, it is estimated that this third and last part of Guardians of the Galaxy lasts about 2 hours and 30 minutes, something that has become almost the norm at Marvel Studios for a long time. We remind you that the third part of this group will hit theaters around the world next May 5, 2023 and close once and for all the adventures of this bizarre and beloved intergalactic group.
