Despite yesterday's unforgettable Xbox Game Showcase, the non-E3 has not yet come to an end and today it was the turn of Ubisoft Forward, the event organized by the French company in which there were a few sure values that were not going to miss the occasion. One of them is Assassin's Creed Shadowsthe long-awaited new installment of the franchise finally set in Japan and which will take over from Valhalla four years after its launch.
In that sense, the new game material shows you Japan like you've never seen it before. And, as had already been announced before Ubisoft Forward, Assassin's Creed Shadows has shined in an extensive gameplay of more than 10 minutes which you can see right below.
Assassin's Creed Shadows shining in all its splendor
Over the last few weeks, Ubisoft had already presented many details about the new installment of its star franchise, such as the release date, its setting or its protagonists: the shinobi Naoe and the samurai Yasuke. We also knew that each of them will have a completely different combat style and that, therefore, facing a mission with one or the other will completely modify the gameplay. The gameplay you have above these lines has focused on this.
The samurai does not live on action alone and Ubisoft knows this well, so not all of the gameplay lasting more than ten minutes has been focused on this aspect. And Shadows will follow the line of Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla and it will be an RPG again, so there will be many other elements to take into account: exploration in an open world, conversations with dialogue choices, trading with shopkeepers and upgrading equipment. All this and much more has been present in the video that was shown during the Ubisoft Forward.
