It's clear that Jujutsu Kaisen is currently one of the most popular Japanese works in the world. Both the manga and anime are taking the series by storm, and interest in the series continues to grow, to the point that its marketing investment is reaching new levels.
To promote the latest volume of the manga, the company has decided to make a live-action short led by the two characters who star in this volume of the manga and who, without a doubt, are two of the most beloved by fans: Fumihiko Takaba and Kenjaku (in Suguru Geto's body).
In the short, the atmosphere is much more fun and light-hearted compared to other volumes. Readers of the manga will know that Takaba's fight is considered one of the most entertaining in a long time, both for its execution and the context in which it takes place.
Until now, we had never seen a flesh-and-blood representation of the characters of Jujutsu Kaisen. While this is just a promotion, it does give us an idea of what these characters might look like if the work were adapted into live action. In the meantime, we'll continue to enjoy their drawn and animated versions by Gege Akutami and MAPPA, respectively.
