2022 was an excellent year for the world of anime thanks to outstanding works such as Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Mob Psycho 100 or Chainsaw Man. However, this 2023 is not far behind since MAPPA has just released the first preview of what will possibly be one of the best series of the year and by far: the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen.
After an outrageously good first season released in late 2020, after three years and a movie In the form of a prelude in between, we finally have a season two that aims high. And not because we really like the series, which we also do, but because the trailer presented by MAPPA is, in terms of animation, truly crazy.
For those who have not read the manga, the studio has presented what will be the “first part” of the second season of the anime, which will adapt the arc of The Stellar Plasma Vessel where we will see the days of Gojo Satoru’s youth. Although it seems that it will be long, the arc is expected to last, at most, around five chapters.
What they have not yet shown is the next arc that will cover almost the entire second season of Jujutsu Kaisen: the Shibuya incident. In this arc we will return to the present with Itadori, Megumi and company to deal with an incident that occurs in the Shibuya district. We do not want to reveal much more to you, because he who has read the manga knows that this is without a doubt the best arc of the entire work. We are not prepared for everything that comes.
