The successful third season of Demon Slayer did not leave anyone indifferent by fully adapting the arc of the 'Blacksmiths' Village'a place that suffered the sudden invasion by two dangerous Higher Demonic Moons willing to end the life of Tanjiro and cause rapid extermination in said location.
One of the main enemies of this story arc was Gyokko, the eccentric demon who had the audacity to challenge the prodigious swordsman Muichiro Tokito and who had the habit of create macabre works of art with the bodies of his victims. Some of his attacks proved to be as peculiar as he is, and in this article we will share some of the most interesting details of his most powerful technique.

A technique that was not up to the skills of Muichiro Tokito
The confrontation that Gyokko had with Muichiro Tokito was one of the most unique of Demon Slayer, since the Pillar of Mist proved from the beginning to be superior to his rival at all times, especially after awakening his Hunter's Mark. The difference in powers was such that Gyokko was forced to reveal his true form and use his best technique: 'Legion of Killing Scales'.
Gyokko's most powerful technique
Also known as 'Deadly War Scales', this attack allows Gyokko to perform a multitude of blows extremely quickly in different places. While he used it, Gyokko boasted to his enemy that the scales that enveloped his body allowed him move with absolute freedom.
Gyokko's surprise was enormous when he realized that Tokito was not only capable of stop his blowsalso countered his attack by using the seventh form of his Breathing Technique, enveloping your body in a mist which instantly misled the Upper Moon.
Gyokko's true form allowed him to use this striking technique. Furthermore, it is interesting to mention that after this transformation Gyokko decided put aside his constant ranged attacks to focus on fighting hand to hand. This was one of the many mistakes he made before Tokito, since by not keeping his distance he left his neck exposed on several occasions, this being the greatest weak point of the vast majority of demons from Demon Slayer.
