A continuation of one of the most successful Yu-Gi-Oh! packs.
Yu-Gi-Oh! It has remained for many years as one of the great IPs in terms of card games. This franchise was born as a manga that was later adapted to television, giving us some of the best anime in history, and then making the leap to becoming a card game, which later led to several video games that have achieved great popularity in recent years.
During the current year 2024 Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game as such, and for this reason at the end of last year we were able to enjoy the launch of a pack known as the “25th Anniversary Rarity Collection”, which ended up being a complete success. Many fans were pleased with the work done with it, and Konami confirms that it was a success for them.
Now they plan to release the second version of this pack, which goes on sale today, May 23, 2024, and we have been able to learn some details about it. Below we will explain everything you need to know.
We will have 7 different rarities
We will start with the most basic detail, and that is that we learned that I would have 7 different rarities in this new pack. Below we leave you the complete list with them, so that you are clear about what types of cards you can find in it:
- Super Rare
- Ultra Rare
- Secret Rares
- Platinum Secret Rare
- Secret Rare Quarter Century
- “Prismatic” Style Collector's Rares
- “Prismatic” style definitive rares
It should be noted that the first three are considered common rarities, while the remaining four are defined as “luxury”. In addition, we were confirmed that any of the 79 cards that we can obtain in this pack can appear in the seven rarities, which results in a great incentive.
Changes compared to the previous pack
We have already talked about we will have 79 different cards in this packand that all of them will be possible to obtain in any of the 7 available rarities, but now we have to mention the changes that have been made with respect to the previous pack, with the aim of continuing to offer the quality of its predecessor, but improving based on User's comments.
As they told us, now More “deluxe” cards will be obtained for each open pack, which is very good news for users. In addition, we were also told that we would have 9 cards available per open envelope. Between these 9 we are assured the following result:
- 2 Super Rare cards
- 1 Secret Rare card (1 in 4 chance of evolving into Platinum Secret Rare or Quarter Century Secret Rare)
- 2 Ultra Rare cards (both have a 1 in 6 chance of evolving into “Prismatic” style Collector's Rares or “Prismatic” style Ultimate Rares)
Finally, it should be noted that it was emphasized to us that all cards are different from the previous pack.

From Konami, in addition to giving us some very interesting details about this new pack, they also allowed us take a look at various cards that will be available in the same. More specifically, of the 79 possible, we had the pleasure of seeing 9 of them. Of course, and as we have already mentioned, these are only a small fraction of the 79 cards available in this 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II. Furthermore, we emphasize again that both these 9 cards mentioned, as well as all the others, can be obtained in any of the 7 rarities that we have previously indicated.
You already have it available
As we have already mentioned, the first pack of this type that Konami launched was a success, and in this sense we can say that the second is continuous, but it makes several very interesting changes. Besides, Yu-Gi-Oh! fans they can be very calmsince the Japanese company has assured that we will see more content to celebrate this special anniversary.
