Electronic Arts and Maxis have officially revealed the new expansion pack for The Sims 4: Life and Beyond, which promises to take players to explore the fascinating and spooky of life after death. This pack expands the possibilities in the game, adding new features related to death, ghosts, and a completely new way of approaching the life cycle.
The pack offers three key items: the Family Portrait Once Timelesswhich captures the essence of past generations; the Music Box Melancholic Melodieswhich emits a spectral lullaby; and the Feathered Elegance Maskperfect for those who wish to hide their face behind a veil of mystery.
However, among the main new features stands out the possibility for Sims to create lists of tasks to accomplish throughout your life. These objectives can provide valuable rewards upon completion, and even Sims who die can continue working on them in the afterlife. The final reward for completing all tasks is option to be reborn.
In addition, new careers are introduced such as Grim Reaper Team Member or Thanatopractorwhere players can deal with death from different perspectives. Likewise, as the pack's reveal trailer has shown, the new ability of Thanatology will be essential for those interested in ghost history.
Players will also be able to customize mourning rituals and celebrate the lives of their deceased loved ones. Whether choosing to leave wills, build crypts, or customize caskets, the options are almost endless.
The Sims 4: Life and Beyond will be available this Halloween
The Sims 4: Life and Beyond will be released this October 31Halloween day, being available for 39.99 euros. Its arrival will occur shortly after confirming that The Sims 5 is not in development, as EA has decided to bet on this fourth installment as the main game in the saga, now preparing a multiplayer mode, among other new features that will extend the title for more years.
