The Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has a lot of history behind it and has a good number of secrets, many of them are in Hogwarts Legacy. However, there are three secrets that Avalanche Software has stood out above the rest and that bring unique rewards in the Field Guide.
The three secrets don’t have a specific trophy, but you do unlock a trophy for unlocking them and receive exclusive rewards… and one of them is a great reference to Ron in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Secret 1: bridge, fire and symbols
The first secret of Hogwarts is found in one of the castle bridges. You can find it next to the rise of the jetty where the first year students arrive. You should cross it for the first time when you go to the club crossed wands. You need to learn Fire and/or Confringo to reveal the secret.
Once on the bridge, you must light the fire of the four braziers. Notice that each one has an assigned number. Go back to one end of the castle and look for the plate you see in the image. Each number is assigned a symbol. By lighting the flames, you can interact with the braziers to spin symbol What do you see at your feet? The rest is simple: assign the symbols on the plate to each brazier.
When you assign them all, you will solve the first Hogwarts secret and you will have access to the lower area of the bridge through the dark plate that you see in the image above.
Secret 2: clock tower, pendulum and metal doors
The second secret is in the clock tower, where the duels of the Varitas Cruzadas club take place. The first time you go you will see the big pendulum and a strange door with a grate that seems to open… but doesn’t. Cast all the spells you want. It won’t open.

This secret has one requirement: progress through the story until you unlock the mission where you learn Alohomora. This mission unlocks access to the mechanisms of the great clock. If you explore the tower, you will see that there are three more doors (4 in total) with the strange bars. Each one has a symbol that matches one of the four symbols you can see on the pendulum mechanism.
What should you do? Look at the symbol of the door you want to open and throw Momentum Arrest when the pendulum passes in front of the symbol you want. The gate of the gate will open forever. Repeat the process with all four Clock Tower doors to unlock the second Hogwarts secret.
Secret 3: mysterious door, director’s office and the highest area
Secret three is the most complicated and convoluted due to its location. You must meet two requirements: advance in the story until you can enter the Director’s office and have learned Alohomora Tier III. You won’t be able to do it during the mission, so come back later. Since it is a bit long, I leave you a video with all the steps you must follow.
The route is as follows: Trophy Room > Mysterious Door > Director’s Office > Room with a View: key > Mysterious Door. In the room you also find two chests, one of wand knobs and another is a summoning spell for the Room of Requirement. At the moment of arrival to the Room with views you unlock a trophy/achievement with the same name, which represents having been in the highest area of the castle.
And it would be! You have solved all three Hogwarts secrets and can claim your rewards in the challenges of the Guide. None of the three secrets are missable, so move fearlessly through the story. You can do it even after completing the campaign.
