The creators of Life is Strange, who are now working on the saga, will avoid coinciding with their new installment
It was at The Game Awards 2023 when DON'T NOD, creators of Life is Strange or VAMPYR, presented Lost Records: Bloom & Rageher new narrative adventure that will go back to the year 1995, where a magical summer becomes the period of self-discovery and forging unbreakable bonds for high school friends Swann, Nora, Autumn and Kat.
The title will move 27 years later, when its protagonists have not kept in touch, but fate brings them together to confront the long-buried secret that made them promise never to speak again. While it is true that the game has not offered many details since then, it did present its second trailer a few weeks ago to offer more details about its characters.
Now, DON'T NOD announces that it will not release Lost Records: Bloom & Rage later this year, but instead will bring it in early 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam to avoid coinciding with Life is Strange: Double Exposure, a title that will rescue the protagonist of the original game in a thriller full of mystery.
We know that many of our fans are eagerly awaiting this game, as well as the recently announced next installment of Life is Strange. Let's give both titles the space they need to be enjoyed by our players within the great community we've built. We firmly believe that Bloom & Rage will be worth the wait. We look forward to sharing this new adventure, which we hope will become another memorable chapter in the DON'T NOD universe.
Four protagonists in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
At the beginning of the game, Swann will meet a group of friends: Nora, Autumn and Kat, with whom he spends the summer forming close ties with each of them. Nora is the rebellious one, eccentric and full of energy; Autumn, the thoughtful and charismatic leader of the group; and Kat: pragmatic, tenacious and enigmatic. Players will discover four very different personalities and perspectives that they will join and lose at the same time for a secret.
Will Lost Records manage to stand out in its launch after separating from Life is Strange?
