The cosplayer himee.lily has been responsible for giving life to the enigmatic Makima through a wonderful characterization job that he shared directly from his official Instagram profile:
The artist decided to show in her publication two very different versions of the character: In the first one, it has the clothing that Makima wore in the vast majority of scenes, which consists of a white shirt and black suit pants paired with a tie of the same color. However, what is most interesting is the inclusion of some shiny metal chains that himee.lily holds in her handsas these are a popular way to represent some of the most terrifying powers that Makima possesses.
The second version that we can see in the set of photos that accompanies the publication is even more intimidating, and serves to pay tribute to the shocking scene in which Makima was assaulted and shot by a group of enemies who were traveling in the same carriage as her. In this version the cosplayer's face, clothes and hands are dotted with red spots that emulate the blood of the adversaries that Makima defeated.
This has not been the only Chainsaw Man character that has come to life thanks to himee.lily's talent as a cosplayer.
