Activision Blizzard is gearing up for the global release of Diablo IV, but in the meantime many players who have pre-ordered the game digitally before launch day have had the opportunity to try the game in early access. In this way, many players have been able to enjoy the game before anyone else, therefore, it is not uncommon to see that some player has reached unimaginable character levels for the first days of the game. Such is the case of first player to reach level 100 of Diablo IV.
After three days of playing around 54 hours, Rob2628, a Twitch streamer and YouTuber, managed to be the first to reach level 100. To achieve this achievement, Rob used one of the best Barbarian class builds in Diablo IV, based on the whirlwind and scream abilities. However, It wasn’t just the equipment that helped him reach the maximum level; at the same time he was taking advantage of an in-game exploit to speed up character experience buffs.
The first player to reach Diablo IV level 100 took advantage of an exploit in the game
Rob and his friends used an in-game exploit to reach level 100 in Diablo IV. The exploit was to form a party, enter a dungeon, and have the main player leave the party. Thus, the dungeon was reset and the party could attack it again. By repeating the Champions Demise dungeon many times, they gained huge amounts of character experience. Unfortunately for many, this exploit no longer works according to the official Diablo IV patch notes.

According to Blizzard, achieving reaching level 100 would normally take around 150 hours game with an optimal build to level up. However, thanks to the exploit and the dedication of Rob and his companions, he was able to reach the maximum level by spending only a third of the time determined by the game developers.
