It seems that at this time Microsoft and Sony are not having any conversations or contact regarding the purchase of Call of Duty. Knowing that Microsoft has been signing exclusive 10-year contracts with companies like Boosteroid or Ubitus KK, it wouldn’t have been surprising if talks were going on with Sony right now.
Sony remains one of the biggest detractors of the Activision Blizzard purchase, standing against the mergera position totally contrary to the one adopted by giants in the world of video games such as Nvidia and Nintendo.
microsoft president @BradSmi tells @WSJ that Microsoft isn’t currently in discussions with Sony for a Call of Duty deal. Microsoft is also preparing similar 10-year Call of Duty deals with other companies in the coming weeks 🤔https://t.co/1Fvi4A6oSu
