Microsoft needs all of Activision Blizzard for your future plans. It has already been said in advance that, even if this purchase did not take place, the Xbox team would not disintegrate, but without a doubt its incorporation would be a significant help. Taking Call of Duty, Activision or even the Blizzard section out of the equation was a recommendation from the CMA, one that may seem funny as it sounds unrealistic, but one that has to be derailed from the interests of Microsoft and players.

If we remove these important additions, we would be left with King, one of the largest mobile video game publishers in the world. If with this the CMA wants to give the expert in the mobile platform to Microsoft (because it is the business you want to focus on) and by the way remove Call of Duty from the equation, this would be a great outrage and a sign of not understanding the medium that it has to regulate.

Microsoft needs all of Activision Blizzard to carry out its plans

The official documents, although repetitive in some points (due to the repetitive demands), always surprise with some wisdom. Among the many things that the CMA requires, dispensing with Call of Duty or a large part of Activision is something they cannot afford.

The mobile market is the main reason why Microsoft wants to acquire Activision Blizzard, this due to its invaluable experience in this medium. The European Federation of Video Games He predicted that agreeing to the purchase will benefit the industry, as Microsoft’s plan is to function as the third-largest competitor in mobile gaming, alongside Apple and Google.

Analysis of Diablo Immortal

The truth is Activision and Blizzard sectors They are more important than King. Games like Call of Duty Mobile, Diablo Immortal and all the projects in development are crucial to bring a lot of quality content to the platform. Even so, the most relevant thing is the talent and experience shown by the developers. Microsoft aims to release mobile versions of its franchises present on consoles and PC.

Call of Duty Mobile and Diablo Immortal are not used as examples on a whim, since these games are a slightly smaller version of what can be experienced on consoles. What is wanted is to have a product closer to what could be achieved in a current console, with the advantage of being present in a market as wide and versatile as mobile.

If the purchase is not made, the redmond tech giant It would not dare to enter this market due to its lack of current and future content. The entry of a third entrant into the mobile market would be extremely beneficial for gamers and developers.
