He terror He has not always had good times in the world of video games. Forgotten for years by big companies, the genre has had a magnificent rebound in recent years thanks to the remakes of Resident Evil, Dead Space, the launch of Alan Wake 2 or the revival of the Silent Hill franchise. However, lower budget projects also continue their tireless drip of interesting proposals.
In that sense, Little Nightmares 3 It was undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games of the year, since its existence was made official last 2023. Unfortunately, it has now announced its delay. Yeah, Little Nightmares 3 is going to 2025 to the sadness of fans of the Bandai Namco saga (which has passed from the hands of Tarsier to Supermassive). Those responsible, of course, wanted to give the appropriate explanations.
For these reasons Little Nightmares 3 will not finally arrive in 2024
This is the release by Supermassive Games in Twitter to announce this painful delay:
“Hello, little ones. Since the announcement of Little Nightmares 3 at Gamescom last year we have been thrilled by the enthusiasm with which it was received by the community. The teams at Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco Europe have been working hard to deliver the best possible experience for the next installment in the franchise.
While we can't wait for you to return to Nowhere, we also want to make sure we give the game the care and love it deserves. Quality is the highest priority for us and we know you think the same. For this reason we have made the decision to move the launch of the game to 2025.
We'll be sharing more about Little Nightmares 3 later this summer, so please stay tuned for more updates. In the meantime we want to thank you for your patience and continued support. Sleep well, little ones.”
As you can see, the reason for delaying Little Nightmares 3 is, without further ado, to have enough time to finish polishing the experience properly. At least Supermassive and Bandai Namco give us the joy of knowing that This summer we will be able to know more details about the game, although we have to wait longer to get it in our hands.
