Resident Evil is one of the most important horror franchises in our sector, not only because today it gives us great jewels, but also because it achieved the profile, at the time, of what was a “survival horror”. Yes, it is true that a few years ago it was considered a dead saga, or rather one that had lost its essence, mainly due to excessive action, but luckily for everyone, it managed to come back. Specifically, he did it with Resident Evil 7, a video game of which you have our analysis available, but also, in these years they have also given us two remakeswhich are considered some of the best survival horror in history.

Now we are waiting for a very special video game to be released, and we are talking about the remake of one of the most beloved Resident Evil by fans. Yes, you may have already guessed it, but we are talking about the remake of the fourth numbered installment of this franchise.

Now, we have known more details about the changes made with respect to the original, and we will tell you below:

These changes will make our lives very happy

Specifically, when we talk about the most hated scene, we are referring to the fight against Krauser, which in the original took place in an interactive scene, in which we made use of the so-called “Quick Time Events”a mechanic that in this remake has been totally eliminated (to the relief of many fans).

This mechanic has been replaced, at least in this particular battle, by a kind of knife combat, which can be seen in the latest trailer of the gamewhich you will find below:

This, of course, turns out to be a substantial change from the original, which we will be able to notice in many parts of the game, since they were by no means the only one that used this mechanic to interact with the player. Even so, we will still have to wait to see how the others have been adaptedsince this is one of the biggest fears that all fans of the original video game have.

Resident Evil 4 Remake is planned its launch for March 24, 2023coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S and PC.
