Nostalgia for some titles is a constant in the world of video games, and few games have managed to remain in the retinas of players as Bully did. Since its original release in 2006, the Rockstar Games title has earned a special place in the hearts of many. So it is not unusual that, from time to time, new games emerge. Rumors about a possible remake, remaster or even a sequel that can bring back the vibrant, rebellious life at Bullworth Academy.
Hopes for a new version of Bully have been rekindled with the recent age classification in Taiwan for PC and Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5 consoles. At first glance, this might seem like a sign that something big is coming. But on closer inspection, the reality is actually a lot less exciting than we'd like.
Rockstar Games' plans for Bully are not what was expected
The ranking in Taiwan is probably related to the announcement that Bully will be part of the GTA+ catalogue in August. This Rockstar subscription service, focused on Grand Theft Auto, will include Bully as one of the titles available to subscribers, Specifically, starting on the 20thSadly, this appears to be the real reason behind the recent rating, and not an announcement of a remake or a new version adapted to current-gen consoles.
For many of us, the wait for an improved version of Bully or a new installment has been long and full of disappointments. It is not the first time that expectations have been frustrated, especially when we consider that Rockstar had Bully 2 in development at some point, although that project never came to light. That's why the news we're all waiting for seems to always be out of reach.

For now, we have no choice but to settle for enjoying Bully again in its original form. on GTA+ service starting August 20as we continue to wait for Rockstar to finally give this classic the treatment it deserves. Perhaps one day, Bullworth Academy will reopen its doors, and we'll be able to live out the adventures of Jimmy Hopkins once again.
